For fervent K-drama viewers, there are lots of locations that are easily recognizable at first sight. In K-dramaland, characters depart from and arrive at Incheon International Airport, take a stroll along the Han River, visit (or live in) Gyeongbokgung Palace — and not to mention that they’d almost always be somewhere with the iconic Namsan Tower standing tall in the background.

But hey, we are not here to talk about locations that recognizable. Those are the fundamentals; we’re talking next level K-drama knowledge here! So, we’ve put together a list of 10 frequently-seen locations in K-dramas over the years — how many can you recognise? The answers are at the end of this post. (No cheating!)
