During the past two weeks, I was quite amazed about how divergent drama production handles the contextualization of the locations they film at. As much as most locations in Something in the Rain are hidden or blurred out, they are blatantly put forward in The Great Seducer.
And then this happened: The easier the locations were to pin down in The Great Seducer, the more I lost interest to list them here on KDL. And the more difficult it became to do know where the situations happened in Something in the Rain, the more I wanted to know where the sites are.
It seems that Mich is right, when she says that looking into drama filming locations is like detective work.
OUR HIGHLIGHTS
If you are a coffee shop person like me, then Miel [미엘] seems to be one of those places to figure on that nice-cafés-to-check-out list.
And I’d really would like this place to be a real café. I’d be a regular.
OUR FAVORITE STAPLES
After another couple of recent sightings of this place, I say it now: The Forest Garden [숲속정원] is officially one of the filming locations to know if you are watching K-Dramas regularly.
Seoul Central District Court [서울중앙지방법원] is also one of these locations that is a constant staple in K-Dramaland and one of its most important places. But why is it never talked about? Let’s start doing so!
