Falling back into the familiarity of Mystery Queen (what an incredible smooth transition from the past year’s Season 1!) and discovering exalting The Great Seducer with fancy filming locations, these were definitely two nice weeks in K-Dramaland.

OUR HIGHLIGHTS

These two hanoks (or hanok inspired buildings) were definitely one of the highlights these past two weeks: Oh-soo’s house and Shin Joo Yeon’s House.

OUR FAVORITE STAPLES

I still don’t understand why this café is never featured in the top 10 K-Drama filming sites to visit. My Husband Oh Jak doo showcased it in a totally new light and made us discover its exterior (!).

Pino Bistro Italiano [피노 이탈리안 레스토랑] is a constant in K-Dramaland and stays one — as seen in My Golden Life recently.

SPOTLIGHT ON A NEIGHBORHOOD

Sangam-dong’s [상암동] shiny north-side also has a more cozy side to it. Instead of skyscrapers and fancy (entertainment) business buildings, restaurant Izakaya [미나미] appeared several times during the past two weeks and also Gaon Culture Park [가온문화공원] with a sweet encounter.

Thanks to Chelle, I also learned about MBC Garden Studio [MBC 가든 스튜디오] where you can watch radio shows being broadcast live. Definitely a place to go on a trip to Seoul if listening to radio has grown on you since Radio Romance.
