Yeouido Kumho Ricencia Tower [여의도 금호 리첸시아]

Melting Me Softly (2019); Hide and Seek (2018); Goblin (2016-17)

Un Seong’s president (Kim Beob-rae) gets information on top of this building that professor Hwang Gab-su is still alive in episode 10 of Melting Me Softly/Let Me Melt (날 녹여주오) (tvN, 2019).

This is shown as the rooftop of the Taesan Group building in Hide and Seek (숨바꼭질) (MBC, 2018), where Cha Eun-hyuk is seen frequently, either on his own or in a discussion (or brawl) with Moon Jae-sang (Kim Young-min).

Invisible to Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun), Park Joong-heon (Kim Byung-chul) takes possession of her body on the rooftop of this tower to tear the sword out of Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) –who was called by Eun-tak just before– in episode 13 of Goblin/Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神 – 도깨비) (tvN, 2016-17). But before he can do this, the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-wook) appears, calls him out of Eun-tak’s body, which Kim Shin then uses as a chance to tear the sword out of his body, finally kill Joong-heon with the price that he also has to leave the rooftop ‘in ashes’ while Eun-tak sits by crying.

  1. Is it okay to go up and take photos? 🙂

    1. Hi Bev, Thanks for asking! I do not think that it is okay or possible. This is an official and apartment building, hence of more or less private use. I suggest to go to the near-by 63 Square [63스퀘어] and go to the Sky Deck of this building: It offers the same view on Seoul, is a real K-Dramaland staple, counts among the 10 best views over Seoul and, most importantly, it is open to public. It is Won 13’000 per adult to visit the Skydeck but they also offer discount tickets sometimes.
