Yeonsan Station – Honam Line [연산역 호남선]
Kim Yu-mi (Kim Go-eun) arrives and departs from this train station in final full episode 14 of Yumi’s Cells (Yumiui Sepodeul/유미의 세포들) (tvN, 2021) to visit her parents. Her father (Sung Ji-ru), who picks her up and drops her off, tells her before she leaves to bring “that guy” (i.e. her boyfriend) home next time as her mother is curious about him. She returns to visit her parents again in full episode 4 of Yumi’s Cells 2 (Yumiui Sepodeul 2/유미의 세포들 2) (TVING, 2022), arriving at this station and being picked up by her father.

Yeonsan Station [연산역 호남선], opened in July 1911, is a station on the KTX Honam Line, located in the village Cheongdong [Cheongdong-ri/청동리] in Nonsan’s township Yeonsan [Yeonsan-myeon/연산면]. This station is not to be confused with the same-named subway station on Busan Metro Line 1.
The current station building was completed on July 18 1957. Its cylindrical water tower (연산역 급수탑) – built in 1911 and the oldest existing one in Korea – was designated as Registered Cultural Property no. 48 (등록문화재 제48호) on January 8 2003.
