In episodes 13-14 of Criminal Minds (크리미널 마인드) (tvN, 2017), this was one of the locations – known as the Cheonju Dam in Cheonju-si, Gyungnam – that was central to the Nadeul River case, which Kim Hyun-jun (Lee Joon-gi) and Ha Sun-woo (Moon Chae-won) were linked to as teenagers. In the 90s, this was one of the hangout spots of young Sun-woo (Jeong Ye-in of Kpop group Lovelyz) and her friend, Mo Ji-eun (Park Si-eun). In the present day, it was in the surrounding forest that the decayed body of one of Hyun-jun’s contemporaries was found, leading to his arrest.
In reality, this is the Yeongcheon Drainage Gate [영천배수갑문], located in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, and lays across the Gongreung stream (공릉천). It was built after the war in 1956, but has not been in used in recent years. It is slated to be demolished by March 2018 to make way for a new bridge in 2022.

Getting here: Geumchon station [금촌역], Exit 1 (Gyeongui Central line), then take bus 77-1 for 19 stops, then head north towards the stream for about 500m. Alternatively, hail a taxi as it would likely be easier to reach it by car.
