Yemi Station [예미역], opened in 1957, is a train station on the Taebaek Line ( 태백선) and Hambaek Line (함백선) located in the village of Yemi [Yemi-ri/예미리] in Jeongseon County’s Sindong Township [Sindong-eup/신동읍]. The station is best known as the starting point to hike the Duwibong Trail [두위봉 등산로]; a mountain trail that flowers with pale pink azaleas beginning of June.
