Wau Bridge [와우교], also known as Wau Overpass [와우고가차도], is a pedestrian overpass and road crossing situated above Gyeongui Line Forest Park [경의선숲길공원 / 경의선공원] in Hongdae [홍대], which is part of Seoul’s neighborhood Seogyo [Seogyo-dong/서교동] in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구]. It is only a few steps away from Sammat Hongdae [삼맛호오떡 홍대점] and Pattern Ethiopia [패턴에티오피아] (closed). The bridge was overhauled in 2016 and the cloud-like railing was installed as well as a viewing spot to be able to look onto Gyeongui Line Forest Park.
