Walkerhill Hotel & Resort [워커힐 호텔 & 리조트] operates a variety of businesses with their main focus on hotels. Two of them are the five-star hotel Grand Walkerhill Seoul [그랜드워커힐서울] and Vista Walkerhill Seoul [비스타 워커힐 서울], which are both situated in the same building complex.

Opened in 2004 as W Seoul Walkerhill and part of Starwood’s W Hotel chain, Vista Walkerhill Seoul was relaunched in April 2017 with design changes made to the entrance. ‘W Hotel’ was selected in 2012 as one of 100 regular filming locations for movies and dramas by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Film Council, and featured in the brochure The Places In Seoul Cinema Fell in Love With (영화가 사랑한 서울 촬영지 100선). This hotel is also one of the 380 traditional and modern-contemporary buildings in Seoul that were selected for the The Seoul Architectural Guide (2013, page 146-47).
A video tour of the current hotel, along with its Presidential Suite, can be viewed here. The lobby of Grand Walkerhill Seoul was designed by designer Lee Eun-lee of Seoul-based architecture company Danaham (다나함) with the concept ‘modern & luxury’ in 2013.

Grand Walkerhill’s Aston House [애스톤하우스] is a building a bit further down the street from the two hotels and serves mainly as a wedding venue. This was where, among others, actors Ji Sung and Lee Bo-young tied the knot in 2013, and where G-Dragon’s sister, Kwon Da-mi, also got married at in 2019. Hyun Bin and Son Yi-jin also held their wedding ceremony here in March 2022.

The building complex is mainly located Seoul’s neighborhood Gwangjang [Gwangjang-dong/광장동], in the Gwangjin District [Gwangjin-gu/광진구]. Some of the buildings, though, are located in nearby Guri, in the neighborhood Acheon [Acheon-dong/아천동].
