Baek Seung-jo (Kim Hyun-joong) and Oh Ha-ni (Jung So-min) stay in this resort on their honeymoon trip to Jeju island in episode 15 of Playful Kiss/Mischievous Kiss/Naughty Kiss (장난스런 키스) (MBC, 2010).

After breaking ups the wedding, Ha Jae-kyeong (Lee Min-jung) has prepared a romantic overnight stay for Geum Jan-di (Goo Hye-sun) and Goo Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho) at this hotel in episode 22 of Boys Over Flowers/Boys Before Flowers (꽃보다 남자) (KBS2, 2009). They enjoy a candlelight dinner, waltz into the evening, watch starts together and share a kiss.

Crown Prince Lee Shin’s (Ju Ji-hoon) birthday party takes place at this resort in episode 5 of Goong/Princess Hours (궁) (MBC, 2006).

A sick and dying Cha Moo-hyuk (So Ji-sub) flees to this resort with the help of Moon Ji-young (Choi Yeo-jin) in episode 15 of I’m Sorry, I Love You (미안하다 사랑한다) (KBS2, 2004) not to burden Song Eun-chae (Im Soo-Jung) who comes to find him here anyhow.

Seaes Garden [씨에스가든]

Yoo Hye-mi (Pyeon Jung-su) hosts the AI Institute team at this location for a meal in support of her daughter Sung Ye-rin (Woo Da-vi) in episode 4 of Melancholia (멜랑꼴리아) (tvN, 2021).

This resort was also seen in The Snow Queen (눈의 여왕) (KBS2, 2006-07); Happy Together (해피 투게더) (SBS, 1999).

The Seaes Hotel & Resort Jeju [씨에스호텔앤리조트] is situated in the Jeju Jungmun Resort (or Jungmun Tourist Complex) [중문관광단지] located in Seogwipo’s neighborhood Seakdal [Saekdal-dong/색달동] on Jeju Island [Jeju-do/제주특별자치도]; a 50-min. drive to/from Jeju International Airport [제주국제공항]. The Museum of African Art — Jeju [아프리카박물관] is quite near to this resort.

  2. women divers collect the seafood you eat

    Before having breakfast in the restaurant, we were standing out on the patio/deck facing the ocean… we HEARD the whistles of the Ahjumma/Halmeoni divers, saw their orange ball floats and watched them surface and redive for all the delicious seafood (literally) that the resort serves. Abalone, sea urchin, sea snails… we had a great appreciation for all of the seafood we were served!
