Lee Jung-hoon (Kim Dong-wook) and Yeo Ha-jin (Moon Ga-young) walk down the alleyway next to this building in episode 11 (full episode 6) of Find Me in Your Memory (그 남자의 기억법) (MBC, 2020), coming here after dinner they had with a production team turned mildly sour. It is on the 2nd floor rooftop of this restaurant that Do Min-ik (Kim Young-kwang) and Jung Gal-hee’s (Jin Ki-joo) 12 hour-long affair comes to an end with a kiss in episode 16 (full episode 8) of The Secret Life of My Secretary/I Loved You From The Beginning/How to Train My Blind Boss (초면에 사랑합니다) (SBS, 2019).

Seo Do-hyun (Jung Jin-young) and Yoon Tae-oh (Ji Soo) meet up at the ‘Fantastic Rooftop’ terrace of this restaurant in episode 1 of My First First Love/Because It’s My First Love (첫사랑은 처음이라서) (Netflix, 2019).

The poster shoot for 20th Century Boy and Girl (20세기 소년소녀) (MBC, 2017) was taken at the rooftop of this venue.

The 100 Factory [더백푸드트럭] and also sometimes ‘The 100 Food Truck’ — or ‘The 100’ for short — is a three-storey building divided into a shop (1F), a classic restaurant ‘Seats’ (2F) —that has a small rooftop— and and rooftop ‘Fantastic Rooftop’ (3F), offering Korean-Western fast food from handmade burgers to skewer sticks.

It is located in Seoul’s neighborhood Huam [Huam-dong/후암동], in the Yongsan District [Yongsan-gu/용산구]; just at the base of Staircase Sowol-ro [소월로 계단]. It is also just one street and a minute’s walk to/from Doodoong Namsan [두둥남산].

Getting here
Noksapyeong (Yongsan-gu Office) Station [녹사평역], Seoul Subway Line 6, Exit 2

▶ Walk to Hanshin Apt bus stop [한신아파트 정류장 – no. 03501] (approx. 6 min. walk)
▶ Take the Yongsan02 (용산02) bus for 5 stops (approx 4 min.)
▶ Alight at Haebangchon Ogeori bus stop [해방촌오거리 정류장 – 03517], located in front of a MiniStop convenience store
▶ Walk straight up the slope (on Sowol-ro 20-gil) till you reach the main road
▶ Make a left turn (don’t cross the road) and walk against the flow of the traffic
▶ Spot Staircase Sowol-ro [소월로 계단], which will be on your left after you pass a green sign that says Hangil Church [한길교회]
▶ Head down to the base of the stairs, which will take you down to Sinheung-ro 20-gil [신흥로20길]
▶ Turn right and take a short walk; the restaurant will be on your left.
