Spoensha Building [스포엔샤빌딩] is a 7th-floor commercial building located in Seoul’s neighborhood Cheongdam [Cheongdam-dong/청담동] in the Gangnam District [Gangnam-gu/강남구].

From 2009 to 2015, this building housed Spoensha Wedding [스포엔샤웨딩], making it the largest wedding dress space in South Korea. Spoensha Wedding was founded in May 1995 by Designer Koo Ja-yeon (구자연 디자이너) under the name Spoensha Wedding Foundation (스포엔샤 웨딩창립) and moved from Gangnam’s Gadang Building [가당빌딩] to this location in 2009. Spoensha Wedding [스포엔샤웨딩] — how it was known from June 2001 onward– was a regular drama filming location of about 40 wedding scenes as of 2011. Additionally, it created the wedding dress of about 120 celebrities, forged partnerships with most exclusive hotels in Seoul and also sponsored the 2009 Super Model Contest [슈퍼모델 선발대회] and participated in China’s ‘2015 K-wave Expo’ (케이웨이브 엑스포) that was held in Ningbo City in August 2015.

The same year, the company underwent a name change to The Veil Company [더베일컴퍼니] and broadened into a multi-brand shop, which added other luxury wedding dress brands aside from Spoensha to its offerings. The store was situated at this location until 2019 and it is not known whether the company still exists at present.

Today, the building is mainly occupied by London-based clothing company The Hunt Man [더헌트맨], which specializes in men’s custom suits and wedding dresses.
