After leaving his house, Moon Ha-won (Jung Hae-in) and Han Seo-woo (Chae Soo-bin) walk down the street past this building to the main road in order for Seo-woo to catch the bus, in episode 4 of A Piece of Your Mind/Half of a Half (반의 반) (tvN, 2020).

At the end of episode 13 of Encounter/Boyfriend (남자친구) (tvN, 2018-19), Joo Yeon-Ja (Baek Ji-Won) arranges a meeting with Cha Soo-hyun (Song Hye-kyo) at the Baekmidang branch of this place and [Spoiler] begs her to break up with her son Kim Jin-hyeok (Park Bo-gum). Heart-broken, Soo-hyun can only respond in weeping in silence when hearing this.

Seum Art Space [세움아트스페이스] is an art gallery housed opened in a newly built hanok-style building in 2014, located at the corner of Samcheong-ro [삼청로] and Bukchon-ro 5-gil [북촌로5길] in Seoul’s neighborhood of Sogyeok [Sogyeok-dong/소격동] —under the administrative neighborhood of Samcheong [Samcheong-dong/삼청동]— in the Jongno District [Jongno-gu/종로구].

In 2019, the Baekmidang — Samcheong Branch [백미당 삼청점] opened in this gallery. Beakmidang [백미당/百味堂] is an organic soft ice cream company launched in 2014 by Namyang Dairy Products (남양유업), one of South Korea’s three main milk companies. Baekmidang translates to “one hundred taste hall for a sensational, flavourful experience” and it’s Hongkong branch was chosen by Vogue as one of the best places to get ice cream in 2021.

The gallery is a short walk to/from Radio M [라디오엠], the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul [국립현대미술관 서울관], White Birch Story Tea House [자작나무이야기] and Italy Jae [이태리재].
