Seoulgyo [서울교]
Lee Shi-woo (Song Kang) crosses this bridge in episode 2 of Forecasting Love and Weather/Weather People (기상청 사람들: 사내연애 잔혹사 편) (JTBC/Netflix, 2022) on his first day as Severe Weather Forecaster for Chief Team Two.
Seoulgyo [서울교], or Seoul Bridge, is a 236m-long bridge that crosses the Saetgang [Saet River/샛강] at the eastern end of Gyeongin-ro [경인로]. It connects Seoul’s neighborhoods Yeouido [Yeouido-dong/여의도동] in the Yeongdeungpo District [Yeongdeungpo-gu/영등포구] and Yeongdeungpo [Yeongdeungpo-dong/영등포동] in the Yeongdeungpo District [Yeongdeungpo-gu/영등포구]. Yeouido Saetgang Pedestrian Bridge [샛강다리] lies a little south of it and can be seen from here.
The bridge, which was completed in 1971, was constructed as part of Yeouido Development as a six-lane bridge serving National Route 46 and Seoul Metropolitan City Route 60. In 2004, it was expanded to a 12-lane road.
