In episode 9 of Vincenzo (빈센조) (tvN/Netflix, 2021), Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-bin) is dropped off at the entrance of Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan [노보텔 스위트 앰배서더 서울 용산] by Vincenzo Cassano/Park Joo-hyung (Song Joong-ki) for her to spend the night after her house got broken into, but she freaks out at the sight of the staff even before she could reach her room.

Opened in 2017, Seoul Dragon City [서울드래곤시티] prides itself on being the ‘1st Lifestyle Hotel-plex’ with four hotel brands, 1,700 rooms and 11 restaurants and bars. Sky Kingdom, a collection of concept lounge bars and party rooms, namely King’s Vacation, The Ribbon, Spy & Partyroom [스파이앤파티룸] (33F), and Sky Beach makes up another part of Seoul Dragon City.

The building was designed by Junglim Architects & Engineers (대한민국 정림건축 종합건축사사무소), for which they received the Bronze Prize of the 2014 MIPIM Asia Awards, the Excellence Award of the 2017 BIM Awards and the Best Award of the 2019 Korea Ecological Architecture Awards (2019 대한민국생태환경건축대상). The larger-than-life sculpture seen on the outside of the building is by Korean artist Park Balloon (박발륜), whose real name is Park Chang-sik (박창식).

It is located in Seoul’s neighborhood Hangangno [Hangangno-dong/한강로동] in the Yongsan District [Yongsan-gu/용산구].

The anniversary event in Mother of Mine was held in its Hanra Ballroom, while part of the pre-event discussion took place at A La Maison Wine and Dine.
