Seo Do-Woo’s House on Jeju Island
This is “a place away from everything else” as Choi Soo-ah (Kim Ha-neul) says it — the house Seo Do-woo (Lee Sang-yoon) finds in episode 11 of On the Way to the Airport (공항 가는 길) (KBS2, 2016) on Jeju Island to exhibit his mother’s most important pieces as she had wished in her testament. He officially opens Eun Sarangbang [은 사랑방], as he names it, in episode 15. Soo-ah also passes by this house on her first visit to Jeju island in episode 11.
This house is located in the village of Ojo-ri [오조리] that is part of the city Seogwipo [서귀포시] on Jeju Island [제주도]. Right opposite of the house is the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak [성산 일출봉] and in front of the house it is 오조포구 harbor. In 2019, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism –announced through the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO)– selected Seongsan Ilchungbong Peak or Tuff Cone as one of the ‘100 Must-Visit Spots in Korea’ for 2019-2020.

Seo Do-Woo’s House on Jeju Island- very good condition
beautiful ans scenery location … it was left untouched as original. This place is next to a jogging track and there are quit a few visitor a day… was there on June, 2019

I loved Do-woo’s house in Jeju Island. I would love to visit this place when I go to Korea later this year. Can this place be rented for a couple of days?
Hi Marissa, it’s lovely isn’t it? And certainly worth a visit only for the scenery. I read somewhere that they converted the space to a café. For renting out a place you’ll have more changes with Choi Soo-Ah’s house at Jeju Island:
