Cha Joo-hyuk (Ji Sung) and Yoon Jong-hoo (Jang Seung-jo) meet at the sidewalk outside this building for a take-away breakfast in episode 2 of Familiar Wife (아는 와이프) (tvN, 2018). As they talk about gaming consoles, and it’s there that Joo-hyuk notices his new scar, which Jong-hoo says has always been there. In episode 4, they meet Seo Woo-jin (Han Ji-min) on the way to work, and Jong-hoo invites her to have breakfast with them, at the benches near the sculpture.

Sangam IT Tower [상암IT타워] is located in Seoul’s neighborhood of Sangam-dong [상암동] in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구]. While one side of the building is located diagonally across from Gaon Culture Park [가온문화공원], the scene in Familiar Wife takes place on the other side of the building, on Worldcupbuk-ro 60gil (월드컵북로 60길), near the sculpture ‘Ubiquitous (A Cyclic World)’ [유비쿼터스 (순환의 세계)].
