Kim Bom-i — as Lee Bom — (Eom Ji-won) sees herself (Lee Yu-ri) on the large LED screen, juxtaposed against the square’s iconic sculpture in episode 2 (full episode 1) of Spring Turns To Spring/Spring Is Coming (봄이 오나 봄) (MBC, 2019). Part of the MBC Headquarters [MBC문화방송 본사] can also be seen in the background of this scene. In episode 7 (full episode 4), Kim Bom-i — as Lee Bom — runs through the square to reach the broadcasting headquarters.
On episode 1 of I’m Not A Robot (로봇이 아니야) (MBC, 2017-18), Jo Ji-Ah (Chae Soo-Bin) has parked her scooter on a street leading up to this square (you see the sculpture in the background). This is also from where robot Aji3 starts to discover the world on her own in episodes 28-29 (as we see from her hard-disk in episode 30).
Cha Do-hyun (Ji Sung) and Oh Ri-jin (Hwang Jung-eum) meet up at this square in episode 11 of Kill Me, Heal Me (킬미, 힐미) (MBC, 2015), which makes Ri-jin remember her previous encounters with his different personalities.
