Ahn Min-hyuk (Park Hyung-sik) buys chocolate here for White Day in episode 5 of — Strong Woman Do Bong soon (힘쎈여자 도봉순) (JTBC, 2017). He obviously wants to give it to Do Bong-soon (Park Bo-young) but finally hands it to secretary Gong (Jun Seok-ho). In episode 14, Min-hyuk and Bong-soon pass by here on their “real” date (Bong-soon just has lost her strength) and get some chocolate. She is teasing Min-hyuk to feed him some chocolate and he swiftly leans in for a kiss. Can we call this place the chocolate-kiss-place now?

Cha Kwan-Woo (Yoon Sang-Hyun), dressed to the nines and without glasses, also buys chocolate here. But it’s for his date with Jang Hye-Sung (Lee Bo-Young) in episode 6 of I Can Hear Your Voice (너의 목소리가 들려) (SBS, 2013). Before entering the store he admires himself in the glass front of the shop.

Royce’ also known as E-Royce is a chocolate manufacturing company with its headquarters in Japan. They were official sponsors for Strong Woman Do Bong-soon. This branch is located on the first floor of the Bennheim City Building [베네하임시티빌딩] in in Seoul’s neighborhood Sinsa-dong [신사동] in the Gangnam District [Gangnam-gu/강남구]. But is very close to Apgujeong Station — hence probably its name.
