In final episode 16 of True Beauty/Yeoshingangrim (여신강림) (tvN, 2020-21), Im Ju-kyeong (Moon Ga-young) and Choi Soo-a (Kang Min-ah) rush over to this ‘pub’ after seeing an SNS picture of Yoo Tae-hoon (Lee Il-jun) and Lee Su-ho (Cha Eun-woo of ASTRO), with the caption implying that they were going to have a ‘hot’ time picking up girls. They find out after they reach that the guys had merely gone to the sauna, with Su-ho becoming slightly delirious because of the high temperatures.

Apgujeong Gopddeok is a chain eatery that specializes in ‘gopchang tteokbokki’ (spicy rice cakes with intestines).

The Apgujeongrodeo Branch [압구정곱떡 압구정로데오점], opened in February 2020, is located in Rodeo Hyundai Apartment Shopping Center [로데오현대아파트상가] (at the corner of Seolleung-ro 157gil [선릉로157길] and Apgujeong-ro 50-gil [압구정로50길]) in Seoul’s neighborhood Sinsa [Sinsa-dong/신사동] in the Gangnam District [Gangnam-gu/강남구]. It was previously the restaurant ‘Donu Donu’ up till around end-2018 or 2019.
