This is a neighborhood café in Run On (런온) (JTBC/Netflix, 2020-21) where Oh Mi-joo (Shin Se-kyung) comes frequently to work (her workplace is supposed to be on the first floor of the building), and sports agency CEO Seo Dan-ah (Choi Soo-young/formerly Sooyoung of Girls Generation) to buy takeaway coffee. This is also the café that Lee Yeong-hwa (Kang Tae-oh) displays his paintings at; often fresh from school so the paint is still wet. In episode 2, for instance, when the café is first seen, Mi-joo works on her translations at this café when Dan-ah arrives to buy takeaway coffee. Mi-joo pretends to be asleep to avoid her, but is called out. She then escapes to the restroom, while Dan-ah admires the “ridiculously crude” artwork at the café, but then buys it for twice the price the café owner (Kim Si-young) had paid. After Dan-ah leaves, Yeong-hwa arrives and Mi-joo realises they had met before.

Redish Brown Café [레디쉬브라운], opened in 2010, is a cute coffee shop with a shady patio and garden seating.

The cafe is located at Baekhyeondong Cafe Street [백현동카페거리], in Seongnam’s neighborhood Baekhyeon [Baekhyeon-dong/백현동], in the Bundang District [Bundang-gu/분당구]; in walking distance to/from Open Coffee [오픈커피], King’s Bag Barber Shop [킹스백바버샵], Shi-Hyun’s Apartment and Cuisson [뀌숑], among others.
