Red Hook Stores
The ‘Rising Artists NY’ exhibition that Ryan Gold (Kim Jae-wook) attends in episode 1 of Her Private Life (그녀의 사생활) (tvN, 2019) takes place in this building.
Red Hook Stores, built in the 1870s, served as a storage for cotton, jute, coffee and other commodities during the end of the 19th century until 1910. After renovation work in 2006, this building now houses lofts and the supermarket Fairway Market Red Hook.
The Red Hook Stores are located in New York city’s neighborhood Red Hook, in the borough of Brooklyn.

Excellent
The filming locations were amazing! This storyline afforded many very beautiful sites. I’m engrossed in the many Korean nights filmed with amazing clarity. I wanted to be there too! I never wanted to have this series, “Her Private Life”, end.
I like to add, the story was woven so well overall it has been my very favorite!!!!! Also the music that casts a spell on viewers as the many scenes pass by too quickly. I had to buy this soundtrack!
hi SandyLee! thanks for sharing and glad to hear that you enjoyed ‘Her Private Life’! there were indeed many great locations that we also got to see and discover through HPL. it’s always a pity when your favorite shows come to an end, but hopefully reading up on some additional information in our HPL overview might help stretch the feels a little more (and maybe even help you plan a Seoul City Tour like Ryan and Deok-mi’s!) 🙂 thanks again for coming by!
