RakKoJae Seoul [락고재/樂古齋 or 락고재 서울 북촌 한옥호텔] —also stylized Rok Ko Jae meaning ‘a house to enjoy the old’—, opened in 2003, is a hanok guesthouse, run by Rakkojae Hanok Hotels. For the guesthouse, a 130 years old hanok, which once housed the old Jindan Academic Society (진단학회/震檀學會) and was converted and restored into a guesthouse by the renowned South Korean carpenter Jeong Young-jin (정영진).
