[SPOILER] Joo Dan-tae (Uhm Ki-joon) comes here in final episode 21 of Penthouse S1/The Penthouse: War in Life Season 1 (펜트하우스) (SBS, 2020-21) to get back at Logan Lee (Park Eun-seok), who was captured by Dan-tae’s henchmen when leaving the airport after watching the news report about Sim Soo-ryeon (Lee Ji-ah) being attacked at Hera Palace. Dan-tae tells Logan that he had made a deal with his father, who paid a hefty price for his son’s release.

Provoke Seoul [프로보크 서울] is a regenerated cultural complex space located in Seoul’s neighborhood Mullae [Mullae-dong/문래동] in the Yeongdeungpo District [Yeongdeungpo-gu/영등포구]. It is a 3-minute walk to/from Times Square Mall [타임스퀘어].

This space was part of the former Daesun Flour Mill [대선제분] factory, which was built in 1936. According to a November 2020 Herald Corp article, it has been vacant since the flour mill relocated to Asan, Chungcheongnam-do in 2013. As part of a “Modern Industrial Heritage Regeneration Project Agreement” in which the original owner agreed for the buildings to be rented for a duration of 20 years (2018-2038), the first and second floors of the property’s 8 buildings will be rented out to suitable tenants “to create space for culture, performances, lectures and exhibitions”. It is currently managed by ARGUS Management Co.
