Lee Yeong-hwa’s (Kang Tae-oh) parents live at this village in Run On (런온) (JTBC/Netflix, 2020-21) and this is also where he grew up. In episode 14, love-sick Seo Dan-a (Choi Soo-young) convinces Oh Mi-joo (Shin Se-kyung) to join her to visit Yeong-hwa when he sojourns here to help out his parents for a weekend. Seo Dan-a and Mi-joo work at the nongol Cafe to pass some time in the morning and Yeong-hwa shows Seo Dan-a the village he grew up in during an afternoon date.
Ma Se-young (Kyung Soo-jin) and Kang Jin-gu (Kim Young-kwang) walk through these streets on a trip in episode 3 of Plus Nine Boys (아홉수 소년) (tvN, 2014) to put together a ‘dating course’ for their travel agency. This part of town is recommended to them as a ‘secret hot spot’ for dating.
Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), together with her mother, moves to a house on this street in episodes 16-18 of The Heirs/The Inheritors (왕관을 쓰려는 자, 그 무게를 견뎌라 – 상속자들) (SBS, 2013) and both Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) and Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) come to visit her.

After moving to this village together with his brother in episode 5 of Twenty-Five Twenty-One/25 21 (스물다섯 스물하나) (tvN, 2022), Baek Yi-jin (Nam Joo-hyuk) works at this market to make a living; to the dismay of his brother.
Nongoldam-gil Street [동해 논골담길 or 논골담길 for short], also called Nongol Village [논골마을] (though rarely), is an umbrella term for a couple of streets decorated with murals –Nongol 1-gil [논골1길], Nongol 2-gil [논골2길], Nongol 3-gil [논골3길], and Deungdaeoreum-gil [등대오름길]– in the seaside city of Donghae. The name Nongol [논골] is a reminder of the former district’s name of this part of town. In 1998, the district of Nongol was integrated into Donghae’s neighborhood Mukojin. Nongol Village was also the part of town where people settled that made a living through the close-by fishing industry (mainly pollack and squid); an industry that by now has subsided. When the residents started to move out of this part of town as their work prospects declined with the diminishing fishing industry, the Donghae Cultural Center set in motion the project ‘Mukho Deungdae Damhwa’ in 2010 which consisted of revitalizing this part of town through colorful murals. The project was set up in a participative approach in which the citizens of ‘Nongol Village’ were interviewed and their (life) stories were then painted on the walls with the support of professional painters.
Please note that the ‘skyline’ of this town was slightly digitally rendered in Twenty-Five Twenty-One.

Mukho Station [묵호역], KTX Yeongdong Line
From the station, head to the Mukho Station bus stop (묵호역 정류장 — no. 53335) and take bus 21-2 for 4 stops to the Nongol Entrance bus stop (논골입구). The street is about a 3 minute walk away.
It seems like this bus only runs at certain timings, however; so it may also be a good idea to take a taxi, which would only be around a quick 2-3 minute drive.
