Nara Women’s University [奈良女子大学], created in 1908 as facilitation to educate women teachers, is now one of the two national women’s universities in Japan after it underwent reorganization in 1949. The Memorial Hall [奈良女子大学記念館] and the Main Gate are designated as ‘Important Cultural Property.’
