Myeongdong Shopping Streets [명동쇼핑거리] are a major hub to go shopping for clothes and beauty products in Seoul. These streets take up the major part of Seoul’s neighborhood Myeong-dong [명동] in the Jung District [Jung-gu/중구]. The shops seen in Devilish Joy are Aritaum, Nature Republic and JC Jayjun, among others. The scene in Goong/PRincess Hour, as revealed by Yoon Eun-hye in 2021, was shot live among real passengers.
In 2019, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism –announced through the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO)– selected ‘Myeong-dong Street’ as one of the ‘100 Must-Visit Spots in Korea’ for 2019-2020.
