The is the art gallery/museum run by Han Ji-yeon’s (Lee Ju-yeon) mother in Love Is for Suckers/Icy Cold Romance (얼어죽을 연애따위) (ENA, 2022) — as seen, for instance, in episode when she comes for a visit.

Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin) meets up with Lim Seung-yeon (Kim Yoon-seo) at this gallery in episode 6 of Why Her/Why Oh Soo-jae (Wae Osujaeinga/왜 오수재인가) (SBS, 2022) to talk with her about her law suit against her husband.

The interior of this museum appear as those of the ‘Saint Müller Museum’ at which Kim Dal-ri (Park Gyu-young) works as a scientific assistant to the director seen in episode 1 of Dali and Cocky Prince/Dal-ri and Gamja-tang (달리와 감자탕) (KBS2, 2021). In episode 2, this museum’s interior appears as the one of ‘Cheong-song Art Museum’, when Jin Moo-hak (Kim Min-jae) storms this museum to ask his back the money he had lend (doing a sleep-in with allied mob members); unknowingly that this is the museum established by Kim Dal-ri’s (Park Gyu-young) father, the late Kim Nak-cheon (Jang Gwang).

Holding a red rose bouquet, Yoo Na-bi (Han So-hee) walks in the snow towards this building (seen as ‘Mimisis Art Museum’ to attend the opening of an art exhibition in episode 1 of Nevertheless/I Know But (알고있지만) (JTBC/Netflix, 2021). In episode 8, Park Jae-eon (Song Kang) and Na-bi come back here to view an exhibition together.

This museum appears as ‘Hyowon Museum’ run by Jung Seo-hyun (Kim Seo-hyung) in Mine/Blue Diamond (Ma-in/마인) (tvN 2021) as seen, for instance, in episode 11.

It is at this gallery that Vincenzo Cassano/Park Joo-hyung (Song Joong-ki) meets Kim Yeo-won, the wife of Dr Gil Jong-moon, in front of the painting ‘Liberty Leading The People‘ in episode 7 of Vincenzo (빈센조) (tvN/Netflix, 2021).

Kang A-Reum (Yoo In-Na) has a business meeting at this gallery (appearing as ‘DDK Gallery’) with its owner Kim Dong-ran (Lee Joo-woo) in episode 3 of The Spies Who Loved Me (나를 사랑한 스파이) (MBC, 2020); unbeknownst to her she is followed by Jeon Ji-hoon (Eric/Moon Jung-Hyuk of Shinhwa) and his associate Kim Young-goo (Bae In-hyuk).

On Joon-soo (Kim Dong-joon of ZE:A) comes to this museum (appearing as ‘Eunyo Art Museum’) in the afternoon in episode 9 of More Than Friends/Number Of Cases (Kyeongueui Su/경우의 수) (JTBC, 2020) to schedule the vernisage of Lee Soo’s (Ong Seong-wu of Wanna One) and Kyung Woo-yeon’s (Shin Ye-eun) calligraphy and photo book of Seoul. At night, he shows the venue to Woo-yeon and at the end of the episode the vernissage is held here (and continues to episode 10).

This museum appears as KU Group’s owner Jang Hee-eun’s (Ye Soo-jung) family mansion in Search: WWW/Type in Search Word: WWW (검색어를 입력하세요: WWW) (tvN, 2019) — as seen in episode 2, 6 and 9, for instance. It is also to this mansion that Hee-eun summons her daughter-in-law Song Ga-gyeong (Jeon Hye-jin) and her parents multiple times until Ga-gyeong tells her in episode 9 that she will divorce her son, Oh Jin-woo (Ji Seung-hyun).

Jeom Soon (Kang Mi-na of Gugudan) convinces Kim Geum (Seo Ji-hoon) to attend a publisher’s meeting and interview here in her place, in episode 6 of Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter/Gyeryong Fairy Tale/Tale of Fairy (계룡선녀전) (tvN, 2018). He only finds out that the publisher is keen to publish her eros novel only at the meeting itself, which makes him more than a little embarrassed. After the article on ‘Jeom Soon the Tiger’ is published, the publishing representative calls Geum up to ask if he’s keen to take part in marketing activities, since the article “about him” was rather well received.

Mimesis Art Museum [미메시스 아트 뮤지엄], a private collection of art, is located within Paju Book City on Munbal-ro [문발로], in Paju’s neighborhood Munbal [Munbal-dong/문발동], part of its administrative neighborhood Gyoha [Gyoha-dong/교하동]. It is a 3 min. walk to/from Laflor Paju Flowercafe [플라워카페 라플로르].

This award winning building — inspired by the likeness of a cat — was established between 2006-2009 and co-designed by Foreign Office Architects.
