Lindenhof — or ‘Auf dem Lindenhof’ (‘On the Lindenhof’) — is a public square located in Zurich’s old town (Altstadt), Switzerland, which also makes up parts of Zurich’s Quartier Lindenhof in District 1 [Kreis 1]. The square allows for a fabulous view on the Limmat river, the Old Town, Grossmünster Church and City Hall, among others, and also was a venue for some historical events like the oath sealing of the Helvetic Constitution in 1798. It sits not very far away from Zurich’s Münzplatz Square and Münsterbrücke.
