Kim Chong Yung Art Museum [김종영미술관]
The exterior and the café of this museum appear as Dok Ko-jin’s (Cha Seung-won) house, with the museum’s café being an additional meet-up place for other characters in The Greatest Love/Best Love (최고의 사랑) (MBC, 2011). In episode 13, for instance, Yoon Pil-joo (Yoon Kye-sang) meets up here with former girl group Kukbo Sonyeo (National Treasure Girls) member Han Mi-na (Bae Seul-ki), and later she comes here on her own with her baby.
Kim Chong Yung Art Museum [김종영미술관], or ‘KCY Museum’ for short, was established in 2002 to commemorate the work of Korean artist Kim Chong Yung (1915-1982), considered a pioneer of modern sculpture. Another mission of the museum is to showcase contemporary rising artists. The museum thus features a permanent exhibition with Kim’s works in its main hall and proposes temporary contemporary sculpture exhibitions.
The museum is located in Seoul’s neighborhood Pyeongchang [Pyeongchang-dong/평창동], in the Jongno District [Jongno-gu/종로구].
