Crown Princess Shin Chae-gyeong (Yoon Eun-hye), the Dowager Empress (Kim Hye-ja) and Crown Prince Lee Shin (Ju Ji-hoon) stay at this hotel in episode 13 of Goong/Princess Hours (궁) (MBC, 2006) when visiting Jeju Island.

Teddy Bear Museum Jeju [테디베어뮤지엄 제주점]

Shin Chae-gyeong (Yoon Eun-hye) and the Dowager Empress (Kim Hye-ja) visit the Teddy Bear Museum Jeju in episode 13 of Goong/Princess Hours (궁) (MBC, 2006).

The Shilla [제주신라호텔]

Na Mi-rae (Yoon Eun-hye) wins a trip to Jeju as first prize of her company’s singing competition in episode 1 of Marry Him if You Dare / Mirae’s Choice (미래의 선택) (KBS2, 2013) and stays at this hotel. This is also where Park Se-joo (Jung Yong-hwa) first sees her; at the pool of this hotel. Later, when he sees her waling into the ocean, he rescues her from drowning.

Jungmun Tourism Complex [중문관광단지], also known as Jeju Jungmun Resort [제주중문관광단지] or Jungmun Resort Complex, is considered the largest resort in South Korea. Designated as an International Tour Site in 1978, this complex is a stretch of land on which several tourist attractions and hotels are located. Pacific Land [퍼시픽랜드] (which had dolphin shows), the Teddy Bear Museum Jeju [테디베어뮤지엄 제주점], Chocolate Land [초콜릿랜드], digital theme park Jeju Play K-pop, Woorim Land [중문관광단지 우림랜드], Yeomiji Botanical Garden [여미지식물원], Cheonjeyeon Falls [천제연폭포] and its Seonim Bridge [선임교], Cheonsang-yeon Falls [천상연폭포], the Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff [대포주상절리], two temples [Gwangmyeongsa Temple (광명사) and Cheonjesa Temple (천제사)], and the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju) [ICC제주국제컨벤션센터] are only some of them.

Aside from The Shore Hotel Jeju [더쇼어호텔제주], The Shilla [제주신라호텔] (as seen in Miss Korea; Marry Him if You Dare) and Lotte Hotel Jeju [롯데호텔 제주] are two other five-star hotels at this complex. The Seaes Hotel & Resort Jeju [씨에스호텔앤리조트], The Suites Hotel Jeju [스위트호텔 제주점] (opened in 2003 and run by Kyowon Group), Jeju Hana Hotel [호텔하나], Seaside Arden Resort [씨사이드아덴 리조트], and Booyoung Jeju Hotel [제주부영호텔앤리조트] are among the more affordable options at this resort.

Jungmun Tourism Complex is located in Seogwipo’s neighborhood Saekdal [Saekdal-dong/색달동] on Jeju Island [Jeju-do/제주도], a 50 minute drive from Jeju International Airport [제주국제공항]. The resort is bordered by Jungmun Saekdal Beach [중문 색달해수욕장] in the south and Jungmun Golf Course in the west.
