JTBC Studio Ilsan [JTBC일산스튜디오], opened in April 4 2019 after the groundbreaking ceremony in 2017, is according to JTBC the largest entertainment program production studio in South Korea.
The building is equipped with four studios, waiting rooms for performers as well as broadcasting facilities. The building’s exterior was created under the concept of ‘Creative Content Factory’ and features architectural elements such as sculptures with the motif of factory chimneys and slate-shaped panels. Inside the building, paintings by South Korean artist Cody Choi (코디 최, b. 1961) and sculptures by Lee Won-woo (이원우) set the tone.
The studio is located on Hallyuworld-ro [한류월드로] in Goyang’s neighborhood Janghang [Janghang-dong/장항동] in the Ilsandong District [Ilsandong-gu/일산동구].
