[SPOILER] Kim Hyun-soo (Kim Soo-hyun) stands on the rooftop of this building, looking out at the night scenery, in final episode 8 of One Ordinary Day/One Day (어느날) (Coupang Play, 2021).
This is where Yang Jung-gook’s (Choi Si-won) campaign office — rented by Park Hoo-ja (Kim Min-jung) — is located in My Fellow Citizens!/Fellow Citizens (국민 여러분!) (KBS2, 2019). Hoo-ja first views the space in episode 6; in episode 7, Jung-gook comes here with fellow con-artists Charles (Yang Dong-geun) and Hwang Seung-yi (Lee Joo-myung), and tries to convince them to help with his campaign.
Jeil Building [제일빌딩] is located in Seoul’s neighborhood Yeongdeungpo-dong 7(chil)ga [영등포동7가] —part of administrative neighborhood Yeongdeunpo [Yeongdeungpo-dong/영등포동]— in the Yeongdeungpo District [Yeongdeungpo-gu/영등포구]. The National Assembly Building — meant to be Jung-gook’s inspiration in his journey towards becoming an Assemblyman — can be seen from the higher floors, facing the north.
Korea Business TV (한국경제티브이) is one of the anchor tenants of this building. Note that while the interior of the campaign office is set in this building, the lobby and exterior of the building is actually here.
