Incheon Station [인천역], opened on September 18, 1899 with the opening of the Gyeongin Line, is one of the first eight railway stations in Korea. It currently operated by KORAIL as a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 1 (no: 161) and the Suin-Bundang Line (no: K269).
The station is located in Incheon’s neighborhood Bukseong-dong 1(il)-ga [북성동1가] —overseen by the administrative neighborhood Gaho [Gaho-dong/북성동]— in the Jung District [Jung-gu/중구]. Uhoegoga Crossroad [우회고가사거리] is located behind it, and the entrance to Incheon Chinatown [인천차이나타운] just across from it.
