Incheon International Airport (ICN) [인천국제공항], opened on 29 March 2001, is the largest airport in South Korea and is located on Yeongjong Island [영종도] off the West coast of the city of Incheon. It is situated in Incheon’s neighborhood Unseo [Unseo-dong/운서동] in the Jung District [Jung-gu/중구]. More precisely, it sits on an artificial piece of land between this island and Yongyu Islands. It now has 2 terminals — the second one opened in January 2018. While most dramas were filmed at Terminal 1, dramas in 2018 and beyond are gradually moving on to filming at Terminal 2.

The airport celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2021.

The Incheon International Airport Passenger Terminal [인천국제공항 여객터미널] was designed by Kim Jeong-sik (김정식), former chairman of Junglim Architects & Engineers (대한민국 정림건축 종합건축사사무소), in 1997. The architect firm earned the 2001 Korea Architects Association Award (2001 한국건축가협회상) for it.
