This house appears as the restaurant ‘찬이네 골뱅이’ (Chan’s Whelk), which is run by Lee Dae-chan (Kim Joo-hun) in Encounter/Boyfriend (남자친구) (tvN, 2018-19). It is also where Kim Jin-hyeok’s (Park Bo-gum) brother Kim Jin-mung (P.O of Block B) works at, and where Jin-hyeok gathered to tell Dae-chan the good news of his employment in episode 2, together with their friend Jo Hye-in (Jeon So-ni).

This appears as Kim Il-ri’s (Lee Si-young) workshop ‘Casta Diva Studio’ in Valid Love (일리있는 사랑) (tvN, 2014-15).

This space is located on Songhak-ro [송학로] in Incheon’s neighborhood Nae-dong [내동] —administered by the neighborhood Dongincheon [Dongincheon-dong/동인천동]— in the Jung District [Jung-gu/중구]. Note that the restaurant scenes in Encounter were filmed in the location’s external extension just next door, characterised by the blue gate; the indoor scenes could have been filmed in a studio.

Up till around sometime in 2017, this location was taken up by the coffee shop ‘미추홀 구락부’ (Michuhol Club), and then by ‘이모 도시락’ (Aunt’s Lunchbox). As of May 2019, it appears to now be taken up by Cafe Timely [카페 타임리].
