Gil Ra-im’s & Sunny’s House

Melting Me Softly (2019); Goblin (2016-17); Secret Garden (2010-11)

Ko Mi-ran (Won Jin-A) lives at this house with her family before the experiments in episodes 1-3 (full episode 1 and 2) in Melting Me Softly/Let Me Melt (날 녹여주오) (tvN, 2019).

This house became famous because Gil Ra-im (Ha Ji-won) lives here together with her best friend Im Ah-young (Yoo In-na) in a shared apartment in Secret Garden (시크릿 가든) (SBS, 2010-11).

In 2017, Yoo In-na returns to live in this house as Sunny in Goblin (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神-도깨비) (tvN, 2017). Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) later moves into the rooftop apartment as we learn in episode 16.

  1. Additional instructions

I went there with my friends last November 2019. From exit 1 of Changsin Station there’s “quite” a walk going to the place. Its mainly an uphill walk so you have to wear your most comfortable shoes and ready your climbing legs.😁

So from Exit 1 of Changsin Station walk a few steps to the bus stop near Tous Le Jour (if its still there) then take Bus no. 142 and ride 1 stop. From ther use google maps to search for 17 Changsin 6ga- gil from your current location. Take the road that has a street view up until the place where you need to take the stairs leading to the place. There’s a park opposite the house if ever you get lost just look for that mini park/parking space.

    1. Dear Carlyne, Many thanks for your precious information! This will make it a lot easier for others to visit.
I have added your directions now and btw, yes, the Tous Le Jour still exists. 😉
