This appears as the hotel to which Queen Mother Bang Young-Sun (Youn Yuh-Jung) and Kim Hang-Ah (Ha Ji-Won) are relocated to when arriving in Somalia in episode 16 of The King 2 Hearts/King2Hearts (더킹 투하츠) (MBC, 2012) and right during their heart-to-heart talk both of them are taken hostage here by Mia (Samantha Daniel) and her assassins.

Parts of this hotel appear as the location where drugged and unconscious Geum Jan-di (Goo Hye-sun) was brought to in episode 4 of Boys Over Flowers/Boys Before Flowers (꽃보다 남자) (KBS2, 2009). Her ‘best friend’ Oh Min-ji (Lee Shi-young) is behind this scheme and has additionally arranged that photos of Jan-di in bed with a random guy are taken (that are seen the next day on the school screens). Goo Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho) comes here in the same episode to confront Min-ji.
