Hosier Lane, Melbourne
This alleyway is Cha Moo-hyuk’s (So Ji-sub) hang-out in Melbourne (where he sells stolen goods) and this is also where he first runs into Song Eun-chae (Im Soo-Jung) in episode 1 of I’m Sorry, I Love You/Sorry, I Love You (미안하다 사랑한다) (KBS2, 2004). Stills from this moment — particularly the iconic one of them squatting next to a dumpster on this street — also served as poster for the drama.
Hosier Lane is an alleyway located in the Central Business District of Melbourne, Australia. This alley, which opened as a ‘Street Art Gallery’ in 1998 as an initiative of the CityLights Project, is well known for its street art and graffitied walls.
