Hongdae Playground or Hongik Children’s Park [홍대놀이터공원], as its name suggests, is located just opposite of Hongik University in Seoul’s neighborhood Seogyo-dong [서교동], in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구], that makes up parts of Hongdae [홍대]. It is a small park where street musicians find an audience and where you can get handmade objects at carts located around the vicinity of the park.
As Tentenation reports (many thanks!), the park’s trademark playground doesn’t exist anymore; it disappeared in 2016.
