In episode 11 (full episode 6) of Good Casting (굿캐스팅) (SBS, 2020), Yoon Seok-ho (Lee Sang-yeob) thinks back to a moment when he had jealously followed his ex-tutor Baek Chan-mi (Choi Gang-hee) and her fellow male student to this book shop after she had left a goodbye note. When she sees him, he sheepishly hides behind a The Police record.

In the opening scene of episode 1 of Born Again (본 어게인) (KBS2, 2020), Cheon Jong-beom (Jang Ki-yong), Jung Sa-bin (Jin Se-yun) and Kim Soo-hyuk (Lee Soo-hyuk) encounter each other in and out of this bookstore. In particular, Sa-bin gets annoyed when Jong-beom gets his hand on a book that she had previously reserved, and Soo-hyuk almost knocks into her when she steps out.

This bookstore appears as ‘Ongsan Books’ in episode 2 (full episode 1) of When the Camellia Blooms (동백꽃 필 무렵) (KBS2, 2019). This is where Hwang Yong-sik (Kang Ha-neul) falls for Dong-baek (Kong Hyo-jin) at first sight and they have (according to him) the ‘historical exchange’ of “Sorry!,” with Dong-baek’s response being “That’s okay” (an expression she had just read in Harry Potter).
