Yeoncheon Herb Village [허브빌리지] — not to be confused with the rather close-by Pocheon Herb Island [포천허브아일랜드] — is a garden overlooking the Imjin River/Rimjin River [임진강] located in the village Buksam [Buksam-ri/북삼리] in Wangjing Township [Wangjing-myeon/왕징면] in the Yeoncheon County [Yeoncheon-gun/연천군]; close to the DMZ. The garden was designed with a Mediterranean resort in mind, and combines beautiful lavender fields, spacious gardens, a private infinity pool with panoramic views and a large glasshouse which features herbs and trees, including five Spanish olive trees that are said to be 300 years old. Apart from the gardens, the Village also boasts two restaurants (one inside the glasshouse) and a coffee shop, plus Villas for long or short stays.
