When back in South Korea, Eun-jo (Kang Chan-hee of SF9) comes to this park in remembrance of his late girlfriend Annie (Yeon Si-woo) in episode 6 of Imitation (Imiteisyeon/이미테이션) (KBS2, 2021).

Min Seo-young (Ko Bo-gyeol) and Choi Ban-do (Son Ho-jun) come here on their date in episode 4 of Go Back Couple /Go Back Spouses (고백부부) (KBS2, 2017) and Seo-young remarks how clean the air is.

This is Bong Pil’s (Kim Jae-joong) and Kang Soo-jin’s (Uee) special place since 3rd grade and they still come here often as grown-ups in Manhole (맨홀-이상한 나라의 필) (KBS2, 2017). In the final episode 16, they come here after having run away from her wedding and they promise to each other never to be separated again.

Eun Hwan-ki (Yeon Woo-jin) and Chae Ro-woon (Park Hye-soo) come here to practice public speaking in episode 10 of Introverted Boss/My Shy Boss/Sensitive Boss (내성적인 보스) (tvN, 2017). Hwan-ki slips and Ro-woon catches him what makes both of them come close, very close.

This is Park Do-kyung’s (Eric Mun of Shinhwa) favorite spot in Another Miss Oh / Oh Hae-young Again (또 오해영) (tvN, 2016) and he goes here to ruminate and tape sounds while Oh Hae-young (Seo Hyun-jin) follows him here in episode 4. Afterwards they stop by a pojangmacha next to Wonhyo Bridge.

Haneul Park aka Sky Park [하늘공원 or long 월드컵공원 공원하늘] is a former landfill that was transformed in an ecological park known for its huge pampas grass fields. It constitutes one of the five parks that make up World Cup Park [월드컵공원] that is located in Seoul’s neighborhood of Sangam-dong [상암동] in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구]. Most of the K-Drama scenes are filmed at the Haneul Park Observation Point [하늘공원 전망대 포인트].

This site was selected in 2012 as one of 100 regular filming locations for movies and dramas by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Film Council, and featured in the brochure The Places In Seoul Cinema Fell in Love With (영화가 사랑한 서울 촬영지 100선).
