Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Incheon [경원재 앰배서더 인천], opened on May 7 2015, is a five-start ‘Korean-style’ hotel associated with French hotel group AccorHotels. It is located in Incheon’s Songdo International Business District [Songdo IBD] (송도) in the Yeonsu District. The hotel carries its named after Incheon’s name during the Koryeo Dynasty: ‘Gyeongwonjae [경원재]’. Gyeongwonjae means “village filled with happiness and joy.” In contrary to its name, the hotel’s architecture is based on the style of the Joseon Dynasty.
