Gyeongui Line Forest Park [경의선숲길공원 / 경의선공원]

My First First Love (2019); Her Private Life (2019); Eulachacha Waikiki 2 (2019); Drunk In Good Taste (2018); Eulachacha Waikiki (2018); I'm Not A Robot (2017-18); Drama Stage (2017-18); Because This Is My First Life (2017); Goblin (2016-17)

In episode 13 of My First First Love/Because It’s My First Love (첫사랑은 처음이라서) (Netflix, 2019), Oh Ga-rin (Choi Ri) manages to track down a dejected Choi Hun (Kang Tae-oh) after a disastrous lunch with his father, and it is here that Hun officially reveals his feelings for Ga-rin, with a kiss.

Cha Woo-sik (Kim Sun-ho) has a date here in episode 1 of Eulachacha Waikiki 2 / Welcome to Waikiki 2 (으라차차 와이키키 시즌2) (JTBC, 2019) with the landlady of the Guest House Waikiki (Jeon Su-kyeong) trying to tell her that he cannot return her feelings — until they meet her two intimidating sons by coincidence.

Most of the walking scenes in Drunk In Good Taste/Have A Nice Dessert! (#좋맛탱: 좋은 맛에 취하다) (tvN/Why Not, 2018) take place here, since Yeonnam-dong is the neighborhood that the show is set in. Jung Chung-nam (Kim Hyang-gi) and Lee Yeon-nam (Kim Min-gue) are seen walking through different parts of the park; the opening scene with Chung-nam conversing with her older sister Seo-hyun (No-eul — ex-RAINBOW) was also here.

Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) come here for a walk in episode 3 of Goblin/Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神 – 도깨비) (tvN, 2016-17).

Choi Hun (Kang Tae-oh) and Oh Ga-rin (Choi Ri) walk here in episode 12 of My First First Love/Because It’s My First Love (첫사랑은 처음이라서) (Netflix, 2019).

Ryan Gold (Kim Jae-wok) and Sung Deok-mi (Park Min-young) come to this section of this park on a date in final episode 16 of Her Private Life (그녀의 사생활) (tvN, 2019).

In episode 2 of Eulachacha Waikiki/Laughter in Waikiki/Welcome to Waikiki (으라차차 와이키키) (JTBC, 2018), Kang Dong-gu (Kim Jung-hyun) has an upset stomach and while in search for a toilet in this parks meets girlfriend Min Soo-ah (Lee Joo-woo) who ends the relationship here with him. Later he finds a portable toilet in this park. He does his business thinking that it’s a public toilet but it turns out to be toilets for sale. While debating with the salesperson, Han Yoon-Ah (Jung In-Sun) comes along and hears of Dong-gu’s story.

Jo Ji-ah (Chae Soo-bin) in robot mode and Kim Min-kyu (Yoo Seung-ho) come here in episode 9 of I’m Not A Robot (로봇이 아니야) (MBC, 2017-18). Min-kyu understands that Ji-ah has a soothing effect on his allergy and embraces her. In episode 12, Min-kyu is back here with his first love Ye Ri-el (Hwang Seung-un)- desperately hoping he can kiss her on this, their second date. Ji-ah — accompanied by Hong Baek-gyun (Uhm Ki-joon) — is close by so that his allergy won’t break out. In the end, both Min-kyu and Ji-ah find themselves alone, underneath an umbrella (a prototype that she has created once and somehow ended up in Min-kyu’s hands) and she kisses him.

Also seen in episode 2 ‘B Head and Love Letter’ of Drama Stage (드라마 스테이지) (tvN, 2017-18), when Jo Woo-jin (Song Ji-hyo) walks lovesick through this park or is piggybacked.

Yoon Ji-Ho (Jung So-min) and Nam Se-Hee (Lee Min-ki) come here on their date in episode 12 of Because This Is My First Life/This Life Is Our First (이번 생은 처음이라) (tvN, 2017). Se-hee sees a game stand where he can win a doll in form of a snail (Ji-ho’s favorite animal) by popping balloons with a dart. He fails miserably until Ji-ho steps in and wins to the amazement of everyone else watching. This is also the case of Yang Ho-rang (Kim Ga-eun) and Sim Won-seok (Kim Min-suk) who, coincidently, came here as well for their date at the same moment. A little walk later on, Se-hee gifts Ji-ho with earrings.
