The NCI team is up in arms when Kang Ki-hyung’s (Son Hyun-joo) son, Han-byul (Kim Kang-hoon), ends up with the Reaper while at a mall in episode 3 and 4 of Criminal Minds (크리미널 마인드) (tvN, 2017). Kim Hyun-jun (Lee Joon-gi) and Ha Sun-woo (Moon Chae-won) heads to the mall to meet up with Ki-hyung’s wife, Hye-won (Oh Yeon-soo), to aid in the search. Hyun-jun eventually finds the boy sitting on a ride in a small carnival area at the outside of the building. In episode 19, restaurant Cafe Deppoki [카페드뽀끼] that is situated within this mall appears in Kang Ki-hyung’s (Son Hyun-joo) flashback sequence of him having a meal with his late wife, Hye-won (Oh Yeon-soo).

Gwell City Mall [지웰시티몰] is located in Cheongju’s neighborhood Bokdae [Bokdae-dong/복대동] in the Heungdeok District [Heungdeok-gu/흥덕구]. It is divided into two buildings: Gwell City Mall 1 and 2. Some scenes were filmed inside Gwell City Mall 2 (B1) and outside the mall near the connecting bridge between both buildings.
