Ha So-hyun (Keum Sae-rok) and fellow teacher meet up at this café with a journalist of ‘Prime Journal’ to inform him on the fabrication of student records and made-up prizes at ‘Cheonmyung High School’ by general manager Lee Tae-seok (Jun Suk-ho) in episode 12 of Class of Lies /Mr. Temporary/Undercover Teacher (미스터 기간제) (OCN, 2019).

This is seen as the cafe run by Cheon Chun-ja (Kim Ji-sook), the mother of victim Jang Ho-gu (Woo Jung-guk), which Prosecutor Eun Sol (Jung Yu-mi) and investigator Kang Dong-sik (Park Joon-gyu) visits in episode 8 (full episode 4) in Partners for Justice 2/Investigation Couple 2 (검법남녀 2) (MBC, 2019). Later in the episode, they return to take the cafe manager into custody as she was in the car with Ho-gu when the accident took place.

Together with Charles (Yang Dong-geun), Yang Jung-guk (Choi Si-won) meets with an elderly couple keen on purchasing the building he’s ‘selling’, in episode 7 of My Fellow Citizens!/Fellow Citizens (국민 여러분!) Han Seung-joo (Uee) asks her just-husband Oh Jak-Doo (Kim Kang-Woo) to buy a cappuccino at this café (which appears as ‘Green Coffee’) and wait for her in episode 3 of My Husband Oh Jak-doo (데릴남편 오작두) (MBC, 2018); the waiting time extents to five hours and Seung-joo finds him in front of the café in the evening.

This is where Kim Min-gyu (Yoo Seung-ho) and Mr. Jo Jin-bae (Seo Dong-won) met to talk about the latter’s resignation letter on episode 31 of I’m Not A Robot (로봇이 아니야) (MBC, 2017-18).

Sun Woo-hee (Jung So-young) and Seo Ji-ho (Shin Hyun-soo) come here to disclose her DNA test together if her parents are really are parents in episode 35 of My Golden Life (황금빛 내 인생) (KBS2, 2017) — and of course they are.

In episode 3 of Fated to Love You/You Are My Destiny (운명처럼 널 사랑해) (MBC, 2014), Lee Gun (Jang Hyuk) saves Kim Mi-Young (Jang Na-ra) from an obnoxious colleague, and takes her to this café. Here she attempts, and fails, to tell Gun of his impending fatherhood, but in her imagination it happens, but weirdly! Green Cloud Coffee Shop [그린클라우드커피 or 그린클라우드 for short], opened in 2011 and closed between February and April 2022, was one of the most recurring and recognizable cafés in K-Dramaland. The café’s trademark are certainly its interior concrete stairs, decorated seasonally on the first floor. It was located on Wausan-ro [와우산로] in Hongdae [홍대], which is part of Seoul’s neighborhood Seogyo [Seogyo-dong/서교동] in the Mapo District [Mapo-gu/마포구].
