Do Min-ik’s (Kim Young-kwang) blind-date with Veronica Park (Kim Jae-kyung) is set up at the Paris Bar of this hotel (which appears as Kingdom Hotel) at the end of episode 6 and beginning of 7 of The Secret Life of My Secretary/I Loved You From The Beginning/How to Train My Blind Boss (초면에 사랑합니다) (SBS, 2019). However, Veronica Park had noted a wrong hotel and when Jung Gal-hee (Jin Ki-joo) comes to avert Min-ik, he confuses her with his blind-date and she decides in a second to play along; impersonating Veronica Park — her former boss.
This is where we first meet Lee Young-joon (Park Seo-joon) in episode 1 of Why Secretary Kim/What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (김비서가 왜 그럴까) (tvN, 2018), as he walks through the hotel and outdoor swimming pool area to attend a function – however, his mind is occupied wondering why his secretary Kim Mi-so (Park Min-young) wishes to quit her position. Later in the episode, we see Mi-so rushing to the entrance of the hotel, where Young-joon is waiting for her to send him back home. He presents her with a flower bouquet in the car – not knowing that she has hay fever.
In final episode 16, this is where Young-joon and Mi-so tie the knot, in the presence of family and friends. While the wedding takes place at the Grand Ballroom, the scene where Secretary Seol (Kim Ye-won) runs into Park Yoo-sik (Kang Ki-young) and Seo-jin (Seo Hyo-rim), and then Young-ok (Lee Jung-min) takes place outside the entrance to the Grand Salon.

In episode 9, Geum Jan-di (Ku Hye-sun) and Gu Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho) as well as Chu Ga-eul (Kim So-eun) and her boyfriend come here to ice-skate on their double-date. Everything is fine until Ga-eul’s girlfriend takes Jun-pyo aside to tell him that there are better girls than Jan-di. Of course, Jun-pyo cannot hold back and beats him up. In episode 12, Jan-di meets up at this hotel with Jun-pyo’s mother who wants them to break up but Jan-di holds her ground even if it takes an emotional toll on her. In episode 15, Jun-pyo’s birthday party is celebrated here and his mother has also invited Jan-di. She tries to humiliate Jan-di first by asking her to play a birthday song for her ‘class mate’ and then she announces Jun-pyo’s fiancée will join everyone now to the surprise to her son and also Ha Jae-kyeong (Lee Min-jung) — Jun-pyo’s supposed fiancée. Later, an enraged Jun-pyo wants to talk with Jan-di and drags her away without noticing that it is actually Jae-kyeong he had wrist-grabbed. In episode 16, So Lee-Jeong (Kim Beom) and Choo Ga-Eul (Kim So-Eun) come here for ice-skating pretending to be a couple in episode 16 only to be followed in secret by Jan-di –with Jun-pyo in tow– who spy on them. But in reality this was Lee-Jeong and Ga-eul’s scheme to get Jan-di and Jun-pyo back together and finally the two of them find themselves alone in one of the hotel’s rooms until Jun-pyo’s mother arrives and Jun-pyo gets taken away by force. In episode 19, So Lee-jeong (Kim Beom) takes Choo Ga-eul (Kim So-eun) to this hotel’s restaurant on their ‘date’ to meet his father for dinner and he makes ill-meant comments towards the two. Later, it is Koo Jun-pyo (Lee Min-ho) who drops off Ha Jae-kyeong (Lee Min-jung) at this hotel after their evening out at Geum Jan-di’s (Goo Hye-sun) rooftop apartment.
The fashion show that Kim Bo-ro (Sung Yoo-ri) attends in episode 4 of The Snow Queen (눈의 여왕) (KBS2, 2006-07) takes place at this hotel. This is also where Han Deuk-gu (Hyun Bin) tracks her down and saves her from a too invasive admirer.
