In her younger days, Seo Dal-mi (Heo Jung-eun) walked along this cherry blossom-lined street, as seen in episode 1 of Start-Up (스타트업) (tvN/Netflix, 2020) — once with Han Ji-pyeong (Nam Da-reum) following her, and another with her sister, Seo In-jae (Lee Re), which then escalates into a fight.

Han Seo-woo (Chae Soo-bin) calls Moon Ha-won (Jung Hae-in) from this street corner with cherry blossoms in bloom in episode 10 of A Piece of Your Mind/Half of a Half (반의 반) (tvN, 2020), and asks him to meet her halfway, or banbogi (반보기) because she “needs healing”. A little later, Ha-won comes to join her, and they share an embrace under the blossoms.

Geumpa-ro [김포 금파로] is a street located in Gimpo’s neighborhood Bukbyeon [Bukbyeon-dong/북변동]. This street, which runs parallel to Gyeyang Stream [Gyeyang-cheon/계양천], is also known as being part of the Gimpo Cherry Blossom Tunnel (김포벚꽃터널) and where Gimpo’s annual cherry blossom festival (김포벚꽃축제) takes place in April.

Seo-woo’s phone scene in A Piece of Your Mind takes place at the mouth of Pungnyeon Bridge [Pungnyeon-gyo/풍년교], and the couple’s scene takes place just a little further east from the bridge.
