This seems a place to go if you want to kiss someone or want to be kissed. All the scenes happen in front of or near this shop on Bukchon-ro 5ga-gil [북촌로5가길] (their sign is often seen in the background).

In episode 3 of My Roommate Is A Gumiho/Frightening Cohabitation (간 떨어지는 동거) (tvN, 2021), Lee Dam (Hye-ri of Girl’s Day) and Shin Woo-yeo (Jang Ki-yong) pass by this place after he wins at the archery game during their simulation date. Gye Sun-woo (Baek In-hyuk) sees them go into another cafe and follows them.

Han Bi-soo (Lee Min-ki) walks down this street past this shop in episode 1 of Oh My Ladylord/Oh! Master (오! 주인님) (MBC, 2021) on his way back home.

Shin Sol-i (So Ju-yeon) and Cha Heon (Kim Yo-han from WEi) talk along the alley outside this shop in episode 22 of A Love So Beautiful/Beautiful Us (아름다웠던 우리에게) (Netflix/Kakao TV, 2020-21). Heon asks for her forgiveness, but Seol-i asks for more time for her to consider.

Han Se-gye (Seo Hyun-jin) wraps up a drama shooting here and Seo Do-jae (Lee Min-ki) come to pick her up in episode 15 of The Beauty Inside / Byooti Insaideu (뷰티 인사이드) (JTBC, 2018).

After apprehending the robbers, Seo Yoo-Ri walks along this street in front of this shop together with Oh Soo in episode 5 of That Man Oh Soo/Evergreen (그남자 오수) (OCN, 2018). They bicker as she demands that he thinks about how she can compensate him for the stolen kiss. She then suggests money, so he asks her how much her kiss costs. Oh Soo corners her underneath a street lamp, and declares that he would just return the kiss she stole.

Kang Han-Kyeol (Lee Hyun-Woo) and Yoon So-Rim (Joy) walk pass this shop on their “date” in episode 4 of The Liar and His Lover (2017) ; he’s still in the denying phase though. They watch a street musician play at the end of the road and continue.

In episode 12 of Goblin/Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (쓸쓸하고 찬란하神 – 도깨비) (tvN, 2016-17), the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-Wook) waits for Sunny (Yoo In-Na) just opposite of Dalssi Market underneath the lamp pole. He kisses her to bring back memories of her past life (a kiss of a Grim Reaper apparently does this trick). He tells her to forget about all the bad memories and him (!) and only keep the good memories. Both cry and the Reaper leaves a disturbed Sunny behind him.

In episode 1 of Discovery of Love/Discovery of Romance (연애의 발견) (KBS2, 2014), Ahn Ah-Rim (Yoon Jin-yi) runs past this shop on her way to Nam Ha-Jin’s (Sung Joon) clinic.

If you walk around the corner and go to the backside of the Dalssi Market, you’ll be standing right in the place where Oh Hae-Young (Seo Hyun-Jin) and Park Do-Kyung (Eric) wildly kissed in episode 9 of Another Miss Oh (2016).

It is also the place where Yoo Eun-Ho (U-Know Yunho) observes how Han Ye-Ri (Kyung Soo-Jin) discusses things with Yoo Byeong-Cheol (Kim Min-gue) in episode 4 of Meloholic/Melo Holic (멜로홀릭) (OCN, 2017).

Dalssi Market [달씨마켓] is located in Seoul’s neighborhood Samcheong [Samcheong-dong/삼청동] in the Jongno District [Jongno-gu/종로구]. It is situated right next door to the café Coffee Mill [커피방앗간] (they even share the same address). Most scenes happen right in front of this shop in the streets. So I felt it would be a good landmark to find the right spot.
